Luigi

Luigi is Mario his younger brother. He has a big mustache like Mario, but is less overweight.

Compared to his super brother, Luigi is more cowardly but if the time arises he can step up to the plate like the best of them. He is the sidekick to his older brother.

Luigi lives with his brother in the Mushroom Kingdom. Both are plumbers, in the older games Luigi was actually Mario his twin, but Luigi became so popular that they made him stand on his own feet by giving him a personality and his own look. Even though he has a lot of the same features as his bigger brother Mario.

He is not as popular as Mario but he is also very well known. He even appeared in a couple of different video games like Super Smash Brothers. The very first game the two appeared in was Mario Bros, this game started the whole Luigi saga.

Like his brother, Luigi also appeared in cartoons. He also had his own video games: Mario is Missing and Luigi’s Mansion. Both were not as popular as the Mario games but they did sell reasonably well.

Luigi’s Mansion is a funny concept, because you got Luigi who is the passive and cowardly of the brothers. And here he is in a haunted mansion trying to take down ghosts in this Mansion. I bet Mario had a good laugh with that one.
