Mario

Mario is the without a doubt one of the most popular game characters ever. He will stay known for a long time, also. Mario is an big overweight Italian plumber. The funny thing is that this fat guy can jump so high.

Mario is recognizable by his red and blue clothing and his huge mustache. He lives in the Mushroom Kingdom where the beautiful princess Peach resides, also. For some reason she can never live a peaceful life.

Mario lives there with his best friends (mushrooms) and his trusty brother Luigi, who also has a big mustache, but wears green. They live outside of the castle where everything is usually peaceful and quiet.

Mario his number one enemy is Bowser, who always tries to steal the princess. Mario to the rescue to put a stop to this. Bowser tries a the tricks in the book, but Mario is far to smart for that big Loser. When will he learn that Super Mario outsmarts him all the time.

Mario his signature moves are jumping on top of his enemies their heads, going down green drains, and saying funny words like, “Letsa Go.” He is so famous that they made a cartoon of him and he has made his appearance in so many different games that have nothing to do with a platform game.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto did an excellent job of making a very likable character, who will stay likable for years to come. So you can definitely expect many more classic Mario games to come on one of Nintendo’s consoles.
